I’m the Composter in Residence at Urban Farm Oasis.
I’ll be on site these Sundays for open compost office hours. Bring your questions, your compost problems, or just yourself.Compost Office Hours
Ask questions. Talk trash.Workshops:
(Mostly) Skipping the Green Bin
February 15
What happens when scraps and debris stay where they’re used and grown?
This workshop looks at the difference between living soil and dead dirt, and what changes when organic waste stays local. We’ll explore how decentralized composting reduces emissions, builds real soil, and shifts composting from an exported service into a shared, everyday practice.
Worms, the Humble Ferrymen (and Voracious Eaters)
February 22
A close look at worms as quiet translators between life, death, and garden fertility.
We’ll explore vermicompost as both biology and relationship: slow, intimate, and essential to living soil systems. Expect worms, systems thinking, and a reframing of what “productive” looks like underground.
