@ Water Conservation Garden! 7250 Portola Drive, El Cerrito

It's time for another regularly scheduled work party, this coming Saturday, and the 'to do' list is long and varied aka, something for everybody. Tools to use, plants to admire and label, compost to move, compost to make!

• Special event, local composter Maggie Owsley and Master Gardner Jenny Hammer will facilitate a compost pile build. Maggie will share her insights into the business of composting and how to 'go local.'

  As usual, we start at 9:00 and go until about noon. Wear your hat, sturdy shoes and gloves, bring your water bottle and curiosity.
